Klunk & Millan runners strong again

Allentown—For the third year in a row, Klunk & Millan’s “Whiz!, Bang!, Klunk!” team produced a strong showing at the American Red Cross Lehigh River Relay Run. This year’s event was held at Lehigh Parkway in Allentown on Sunday, September 24.

The 2006 River Relay Run was made up of five legs, each a distance of 4.3 miles. Klunk & Millan’s five-member team included Jim Klunk, Jay Kach, Bill Bravo, Dick Klunk, and Krystal Klunk. The team finished second in the event’s Corporate Sponsor category.

The members of Whiz! Bang! Klunk! were among 362 runners participating in this year’s River Relay Run. Since 1991, the event has raised more than $300,000 for the American Red Cross of the Greater Lehigh Valley.
