Whiz! Bang! Klunk!
Klunk & Millan runners top Red Cross charity run

Allentown—Klunk & Millan's two "Whiz, Bang, Klunk" teams dominated the standings in the Sponsor Division at the Red Cross Lehigh River Relay Run on Sunday, July 17. The teams finished one-two in their category.

Klunk & Millan employees and friends each ran one or two of the five legs of the race, with distances ranging from 3.4 to 5 miles.

Team Gold included Jay Kach, Kathy Halkins, Joe Witmer, Joe Zairo, and Mike Zunino. Members of Team Blue were Jim Klunk, Bill Bravo, Dick Klunk, and Krystal Klunk.

With a final time of 3 hours and 15 minutes, Team Gold narrowly beat Team Blue, who clocked in at 3 hours and 18 minutes.

Klunk & Millan's competitors were among 515 runners who participated in the 23-mile race, which began at Allentown's Canal Park and ended at Easton's Riverside Park.
