Birdsboro—Who can deliver price quotes faster than a speeding bullet?
Offer promotions more powerful than a locomotive? Deliver unparalleled
customer service in a single bound? Look up in the sky (or online) for
a location near you! It’s CJ’s Tire & Automotive.
Serving customers for more than 35 years, this family-owned tire and automotive
chain provides products and services backed by CJ’s philosophy of
Quality, Service, Value, and Price (QSVP).
Though this aggressively growing business had a web presence, the CJ’s
site consisted of just seven pages of outdated information that didn’t
rank well on search engines or help establish the company’s new
“superhero” brand. After reading a profile on Klunk &
Millan in the Eastern Pennsylvania Business Journal, the decision-makers
at CJ’s knew they wanted Klunk & Millan to redesign their website
(CJTire.com).
“We developed a true partnership with CJ’s and delivered a
site that meets the needs of both employees and customers,” says
Dan Agostinelli, director of web services at Klunk & Millan. New features
include a tire selector tool that allows site visitors to search a database
of tires available for their car’s make and model, an online scheduling
option where customers can indicate their date/time preferences, online
coupons and manufacturer promotions, and directions to CJ’s 13 locations
throughout Eastern Pennsylvania.
Behind the scenes, these site additions involved developing a fluid navigation
structure that not only helps site visitors quickly locate the areas that
most interest them but also improves Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
“We employ a host of tactics of which navigation is one,”
Agostinelli says. “Everything we do when building a website is done
to maximize exposure—from meta-tags embedded in the HTML code to
keyword density in the copy. If people can’t find your site, you
aren’t communicating anything.”
During the new site’s first four months, site visitors increased
more than 67%. “The early results are great and we expect those
numbers to keep climbing,” Agostinelli says.
