Stanley Vidmar launches new brand identity
Allentown—For more than 40 years, Stanley Vidmar has been producing custom commercial storage systems designed to withstand the rigors of highly demanding workplaces. Over this time, Vidmar has progressively broadened its product line, creating storage equipment suited to a variety of distinct industries. To successfully promote the nature of its products and appeal directly to these industries, Vidmar recently launched a new brand identity in conjunction with a new website, product catalog, product brochures, sales sheets, and an e-mail marketing and public relations program. A new Stanley Vidmar logo, modeled after Vidmar’s original product “badge,” conveys the strength and durability that is the hallmark of the company’s products. A new tagline—“Tough Storage Solutions”—further emphasizes this durability while also underscoring the company’s ability to solve even the toughest storage problems. This new logo and tagline serves as the creative thrust behind all new Vidmar marketing materials. “We’ve been a leading provider of some of the toughest storage equipment available,” says James Cannon, President of Stanley Engineered Storage Solutions. “Our marketing efforts needed to reflect that fact. By focusing on the durability of our products, and our ability to solve difficult storage problems, we're able to communicate who we are as a company.” To accompany this new brand, Klunk & Millan developed a dynamic new Stanley Vidmar website (StanleyVidmar.com) featuring a number of interactive elements that provide users with access to detailed product information. All products within the site are organized by industry for easy navigation, giving customers an intuitive path to the storage solutions that fit their specific needs. This easy-to-follow navigation, along with robust product information, clearly communicates Stanley Vidmar’s comprehensive storage solution offerings.Site visitors can construct drawer configurations, check cabinet sizing, view cabinets in multiple colors, and browse cabinet layouts. An interactive chat feature gives customers the chance to have product questions answered by Stanley Vidmar Storage Sales Engineers in a real-time environment. “Our new brand identity reinforces what we do on a number of levels,” explains Jill Wheeler, Stanley Vidmar’s Senior Marketing Manager. “The tagline ‘Tough Storage Solutions’ is a simple, direct line, but it’s our promise that we’ll deliver durable, rugged storage solutions that solve even the toughest storage problems.
