A-Treat Soda announced Officer Scott Rothrock as the official 2018 A-Treat Hero. Rothrock will be featured on the brand’s Cream Soda label and has designated the Fraternal Order of Police Le-Hampton #35 to receive the $10,000 charitable donation from A-Treat.
Officer Rothrock, Borough of Catasauqua Police Department, was nominated for his bravery after suffering injuries from stab wounds inflicted by a suspect. These injuries ultimately prevented him from returning to the police force as an officer, forcing Rothrock to retire his badge in February 2018. Officer Rothrock received over 2,000 votes of the 6,000 total votes cast during the month-long campaign. Click here to learn more about each finalist.
